Jami' al-Tirmidhi · Hadith 1887

حدثنا علي بن خشرم، أخبرنا عيسى بن يونس، عن مالك بن أنس، عن أيوب، وهو ابن حبيب أنه سمع أبا المثنى الجهني، يذكر عن أبي سعيد الخدري، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نهى عن النفخ في الشرب ‏.‏ فقال رجل القذاة أراها في الإناء قال ‏"‏ أهرقها ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قال فإني لا أروى من نفس واحد قال ‏"‏ فأبن القدح إذا عن فيك ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قال أبو عيسى هذا حديث حسن صحيح ‏.‏

Narrated Abu Sa’id Al Khudri : That the Prophet (ﷺ) prohibited blowing into the drink. A man said: "What about if one sees something floating in the vessel?" He said: "Spill it out (removing that)." He said: "I can not drink in one breath." He said: "Then remove the cup away from your mouth."[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.
