Jami' al-Tirmidhi · Hadith 2757

حدثنا عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن، أخبرنا عمرو بن عاصم، أخبرنا حماد بن سلمة، عن حميد، وثابت، عن أنس، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ حفت الجنة بالمكاره وحفت النار بالشهوات ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قال أبو عيسى هذا حديث حسن غريب صحيح من هذا الوجه ‏.‏

Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "Paradise is surrounded by hardships, and the Fire is surrounded by desires."
