Jami' al-Tirmidhi · Hadith 3041

حدثنا هناد، حدثنا عبثر بن القاسم، عن الأشعث، وهو ابن سوار عن أبي إسحاق، عن جابر بن سمرة، قال رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في ليلة إضحيان فجعلت أنظر إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وإلى القمر وعليه حلة حمراء فإذا هو عندي أحسن من القمر ‏.‏ قال أبو عيسى هذا حديث حسن غريب لا نعرفه إلا من حديث الأشعث ‏.‏

Narrated Jabir Bin Samurah: "I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) on a clear night, so I looked at the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and at the moon, and he was wearing a red Hullah, and he looked better than the moon to me."
