Muwatta Malik · Hadith 540

وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، قَالَ يُصَلَّى عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ وَبَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ إِذَا صُلِّيَتَا لِوَقْتِهِمَا ‏.‏

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar said, "The prayer for a dead person can be done after asr and subh if these have been prayed at their times
