حدثنا محمد بن بشار، حدثنا عبد الرحمن، حدثنا سفيان، عن الأعمش، عن عبد الله بن مرة، عن مسروق، عن عبد الله رضى الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ ليس منا من ضرب الخدود، وشق الجيوب، ودعا بدعوى الجاهلية ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated `Abdullah: The Prophet said, "He who slaps the cheeks, tears the clothes and follows the tradition of the Days of Ignorance is not from us."
