حدثنا عمر بن حفص، حدثنا أبي، حدثنا الأعمش، عن عبد الله بن مرة، عن مسروق، عن عبد الله رضى الله عنه قال قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ ليس منا من ضرب الخدود، وشق الجيوب، ودعا بدعوى الجاهلية ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated `Abdullah: The Prophet said, "He who slaps the cheeks, tears the clothes and follows the traditions of the Days of Ignorance is not from us."
