حدثنا عبد الله بن يوسف، أخبرنا مالك، عن ابن شهاب، عن سعيد بن المسيب، عن أبي هريرة رضى الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نعى النجاشي في اليوم الذي مات فيه، وخرج بهم إلى المصلى فصف بهم، وكبر عليه أربع تكبيرات‏.‏

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle informed about the news of the death of An-Najash on the day he died. He went out with us to the Musalla and we aligned in rows and he said four Takbirs for An-Najashi's funeral prayer.
