حدثني عمرو بن عباس، حدثنا عبد الرحمن، حدثنا سفيان، عن أبيه، عن عباية بن رفاعة، قال أخبرني رافع بن خديج، قال سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول ‏"‏ الحمى من فور جهنم، فأبردوها عنكم بالماء ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated Rafi` bin Khadij: I heard the Prophet saying, "Fever is from the heat of the (Hell) Fire; so cool it with water."
