حدثنا عبد العزيز بن عبد الله، قال حدثني إبراهيم بن سعد، عن صالح، عن ابن شهاب، قال قال أبو سلمة بن عبد الرحمن إن أبا هريرة رضى الله عنه قال إن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ إن اليهود والنصارى لا يصبغون، فخالفوهم ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "The Jews and the Christians do not dye (their grey hair), so you shall do the opposite of what they do (i.e. dye your grey hair and beards).
