Sahih Bukhari · Hadith 3886

حدثني عمرو بن عباس، حدثنا عبد الرحمن، حدثنا سفيان، عن أبي إسحاق، عن عمرو بن ميمون، قال قال عمر رضى الله عنه إن المشركين كانوا لا يفيضون من جمع حتى تشرق الشمس على ثبير، فخالفهم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فأفاض قبل أن تطلع الشمس‏.‏

Narrated `Umar: The pagans used not to leave Jam' (i.e. Muzdalifa) till the sun had risen on Thabir mountain. The Prophet contradicted them by leaving (Muzdalifa) before the sun rose.
