Military Expeditions led by the Prophet (pbuh) (Al-Maghaazi) - كتاب المغازى
حدثنا أبو الوليد، حدثنا شعبة، عن معاوية بن قرة، قال سمعت عبد الله بن مغفل، يقول رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم فتح مكة على ناقته، وهو يقرأ سورة الفتح يرجع، وقال لولا أن يجتمع الناس حولي لرجعت كما رجع.
Narrated `Abdullah bin Mughaffal: I saw Allah's Apostle on the day of the Conquest of Mecca over his she-camel, reciting Surat-al-Fath in a vibrant quivering tone. (The sub-narrator, Mu'awiya added, "Were I not afraid that the people may gather around me, I would recite in vibrant quivering tone as he (i.e. `Abdullah bin Mughaffal) did, imitating Allah's Apostle.")
