حدثنا حفص بن عمر، حدثنا همام، حدثنا قتادة، قال سألت أنس بن مالك رضى الله عنه من جمع القرآن على عهد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال أربعة كلهم من الأنصار أبى بن كعب ومعاذ بن جبل، وزيد بن ثابت، وأبو زيد‏.‏ تابعه الفضل عن حسين بن واقد عن ثمامة عن أنس‏.‏

Narrated Qatada: I asked Anas bin Malik: "Who collected the Qur'an at the time of the Prophet ?" He replied, "Four, all of whom were from the Ansar: Ubai bin Ka`b, Mu`adh bin Jabal, Zaid bin Thabit and Abu Zaid."
