حدثنا مسدد، حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد، عن سفيان، قال حدثني الأعمش، عن سعيد بن جبير، عن أبي عبد الرحمن السلمي، عن أبي موسى رضى الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ ليس أحد أو ليس شىء أصبر على أذى سمعه من الله، إنهم ليدعون له ولدا، وإنه ليعافيهم ويرزقهم ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated Abu Musa: The Prophet said: None is more patient than Allah against the harmful saying. He hears from the people they ascribe children to Him, yet He gives them health and (supplies them with) provision."
