حدثني محمد بن المثنى، حدثنا غندر، حدثنا شعبة، عن عبد الملك بن عمير، عن أبي سلمة، عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ أصدق بيت قاله الشاعر ألا كل شىء ما خلا الله باطل ‏"‏‏.‏

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "The truest poetic verse ever said by a poet, is: Indeed! Everything except Allah, is perishable."
