Sahih Bukhari · Hadith 782

حدثنا عبد الله بن مسلمة، عن مالك، عن سمى، مولى أبي بكر عن أبي صالح، عن أبي هريرة، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ إذا قال الإمام ‏{‏غير المغضوب عليهم ولا الضالين‏}‏ فقولوا آمين‏.‏ فإنه من وافق قوله قول الملائكة غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه ‏"‏‏.‏ تابعه محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ونعيم المجمر عن أبي هريرة رضى الله عنه‏.‏

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Say Amen when the Imam says 'Ghairi l-maghdubi `alaihim wala d-daalleen' (not the path of those who earn Your Anger (such as Jews) nor of those who go astray (such as Christians)); all the past sins of the person whose saying (of Amin) coincides with that of the angels, will be forgiven".
