Sahih Muslim · Hadith 2124

وحدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة، حدثنا غندر، عن شعبة، ح وحدثنا محمد بن المثنى، وابن بشار قالا حدثنا محمد بن جعفر، حدثنا شعبة، عن الحكم، عن مجاهد، عن ابن عباس، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال ‏"‏ نصرت بالصبا وأهلكت عاد بالدبور ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Ibn 'Abbas reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: I have been helped by the east wind and the 'Ad were destroyed by the west wind.
