حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة، حدثنا حفص، - يعني ابن غياث - عن هشام، عن فاطمة بنت المنذر، عن أسماء بنت أبي بكر، - رضى الله عنها - قالت قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ أنفقي - أو انضحي أو انفحي - ولا تحصي فيحصي الله عليك ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Asma', daughter of Abu Bakr (Allah be pleated with him), reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said to me: Spend, and do not calculate, or otherwise Allah would also calculate in your case.
