Sahih Muslim · Hadith 2423

وحدثنا عمرو الناقد، وزهير بن حرب، وإسحاق بن إبراهيم، جميعا عن أبي، معاوية - قال زهير حدثنا محمد بن خازم، - حدثنا هشام بن عروة، عن عباد بن حمزة، وعن فاطمة بنت المنذر، عن أسماء، قالت قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ انفحي - أو انضحي أو أنفقي - ولا تحصي فيحصي الله عليك ولا توعي فيوعي الله عليك ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Asma' reported Allah's Messenger (way peace be upon him) as saying (to her): Spend and do not calculate, (for) Allah would calculate in your case; and do not hoard, otherwise Allah would be withholding from you.
