حدثنا محمد بن المثنى، حدثنا يحيى بن حماد، حدثنا أبو عوانة، عن سليمان، حدثنا أبو سفيان، عن جابر، قال سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول ‏"‏ من كانت له أرض فليهبها أو ليعرها ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Jabir (Allah he pleased with him) reported: I heard Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) as saying: He who has (surplus) land should donate it (to others), or lend it.
