حدثنا زهير بن حرب، حدثنا أبو صفوان الأموي، ح وحدثني أبو الطاهر، وحرملة، بن يحيى قالا أخبرنا ابن وهب، كلاهما عن يونس، عن ابن شهاب، عن ابن المسيب، أنسمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول ‏"‏ الحلف منفقة للسلعة ممحقة للربح ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) said he heard Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Swearing produces a ready sale for a commodity, but blots out the blessing.
