وحدثنا زهير بن حرب، ومحمد بن المثنى، وأحمد بن سنان، قال زهير حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مهدي، عن شعبة، عن قتادة، قال سمعت عبد الله بن أبي عتبة، يقول سمعت أبا سعيد الخدري، يقول كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أشد حياء من العذراء في خدرها وكان إذا كره شيئا عرفناه في وجهه .
Abu Sa'id Khudri reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) was more modest than the virgin behind the curtain (or in the apartment), and when he disliked anything, we recognised that from his face.
