The Book Pertaining to the Merits of the Companions (Allah Be Pleased With Them) of the Holy Prophet - كتاب فضائل الصحابة رضى الله تعالى عنهم
وحدثنا أبو كريب، حدثنا أبو أسامة، عن هشام، عن أبيه، عن عبد الله بن الزبير، قال لما كان يوم الخندق كنت أنا وعمر بن أبي سلمة في الأطم الذي فيه النسوة يعني نسوة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وساق الحديث بمعنى حديث ابن مسهر في هذا الإسناد ولم يذكر عبد الله بن عروة في الحديث ولكن أدرج القصة في حديث هشام عن أبيه عن ابن الزبير .
'Abdullah b. Zubair reported: When it was the Day of the Battle of the Ditch I and 'Umar b. Salama were in the fort in which there were women, i. e. the wives of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) ; the rest of the hadith is the same.
