حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة، وسعيد بن عمرو الأشعثي، وزهير بن حرب، وابن، أبي عمر قالوا حدثنا سفيان، عن الزهري، بهذا الإسناد . وزادوا في الإسناد عن سفيان، فقالوا عن زينب بنت أبي سلمة، عن حبيبة، عن أم حبيبة، عن زينب بنت جحش، .
