حدثنا مخلد بن خالد، حدثنا أبو عاصم، عن يزيد بن أبي عبيد، عن سلمة بن الأكوع، قال كان بين منبر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وبين الحائط كقدر ممر الشاة ‏.‏

Salamah b. al-Akwa' said: The space between the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and the wall (of the mosque) was such that a goat could pass.
