Sunan Abi Da'ud · Hadith 139

حدثنا حميد بن مسعدة، حدثنا معتمر، قال سمعت ليثا، يذكر عن طلحة، عن أبيه، عن جده، قال دخلت - يعني - على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو يتوضأ والماء يسيل من وجهه ولحيته على صدره فرأيته يفصل بين المضمضة والاستنشاق ‏.‏

Narrated Grandfather of Talhah: I entered upon the Prophet (ﷺ) while he was performing ablution, and the water was running down his face and beard to his chest. I saw him rinsing his mouth and snuffing up water separately.
