Sunan Abi Da'ud · Hadith 2721

حدثنا سعيد بن منصور، حدثنا إسماعيل بن عياش، عن صفوان بن عمرو، عن عبد الرحمن بن جبير بن نفير، عن أبيه، عن عوف بن مالك الأشجعي، وخالد بن الوليد، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قضى بالسلب للقاتل ولم يخمس السلب ‏.‏

Narrated Awf ibn Malik al-Ashja'i ; Khalid ibn al-Walid: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gave judgement that the killer should have what was taken from the man he killed, and did not make this subject to division into fifths.
