Tribute, Spoils, and Rulership (Kitab Al-Kharaj, Wal-Fai' Wal-Imarah) - كتاب الخراج والإمارة والفىء
حدثنا أحمد بن حنبل، حدثنا عبد الرحمن، عن مالك، عن زيد بن أسلم، عن أبيه، عن عمر، قال لولا آخر المسلمين ما فتحت قرية إلا قسمتها كما قسم رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم خيبر .
‘Umar said “Had I not considered the last Muslim, I would have any town I conquered divided as the Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) had divided Khaibar.”
