Tribute, Spoils, and Rulership (Kitab Al-Kharaj, Wal-Fai' Wal-Imarah) - كتاب الخراج والإمارة والفىء
حدثنا أحمد بن حنبل، حدثنا أبو أحمد، محمد بن عبد الله حدثنا سفيان، عن أبي الزبير، عن جابر، عن عمر، قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بمعناه والأول أتم .
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by ‘Umar through a different chain of narrators.” He said “The Apostle of Allaah(ﷺ) said to the same effect. The former version is ore perfect.”
