Sunan Abi Da'ud · Hadith 3231

حدثنا محمد بن سليمان الأنباري، حدثنا عبد الوهاب، - يعني ابن عطاء - عن سعيد، عن قتادة، عن أنس، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه قال ‏"‏ إن العبد إذا وضع في قبره وتولى عنه أصحابه إنه ليسمع قرع نعالهم ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Narrated Anas: The Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: When a servant (of Allah) is placed in his grave, and his Companions depart from him, he hears the stepping sound of their shoes.
