Sunan Abi Da'ud · Hadith 3702

حدثنا عبد الله بن محمد النفيلي، حدثنا زهير، حدثنا أبو الزبير، عن جابر بن عبد الله، قال كان ينبذ لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في سقاء فإذا لم يجدوا سقاء نبذ له في تور من حجارة ‏.‏

Jabir b. ‘Abd Allah said: Dates were steeped for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in a skin, but when they could not find a skin, they were steeped for him in a small stone vessel.
