Sunan Abi Da'ud · Hadith 3738

حدثنا الحسن بن علي، حدثنا عبد الرزاق، أخبرنا معمر، عن أيوب، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر، قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ إذا دعا أحدكم أخاه فليجب عرسا كان أو نحوه ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Ibn ‘Umar reported the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) as saying: if one of you invites his brother, he should accept(the invitation), whether it is a wedding feast or something of that nature.
