حدثنا مسلم بن إبراهيم، حدثنا هشام، عن قتادة، عن سعيد بن المسيب، بهذه القصة قال فدعي اليوم الثالث فلم يجب وحصب الرسول ‏.‏

Qatadah reported this story from Sa’id b. al-Musayyab. This version adds: When he was invited on the third day, he did not accept but threw pebbles on the messenger.
