Sunan Abi Da'ud · Hadith 3946

حدثنا الحسن بن علي، حدثنا عبد الرزاق، أخبرنا معمر، عن الزهري، عن سالم، عن ابن عمر، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ من أعتق شركا له في عبد عتق منه ما بقي في ماله إذا كان له ما يبلغ ثمن العبد ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Ibn 'Umar reported the Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: If a man emancipates his share in a slave, the rest will be emancipated by his money if he has enough money to pay the full price for him.
