Sunan Abi Da'ud · Hadith 3968

حدثنا محمد بن كثير، حدثنا سفيان، عن أبي إسحاق، عن أبي حبيبة الطائي، عن أبي الدرداء، قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ مثل الذي يعتق عند الموت كمثل الذي يهدي إذا شبع ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Narrated AbudDarda': The Prophet (ﷺ) said: the similitude of a man who emancipates a slave at the time of his death is like that of a man who gives a present after satisfying his appetite.
