Dialects and Readings of the Qur'an (Kitab Al-Huruf Wa Al-Qira'at) - كتاب الحروف والقراءات
حدثنا موسى، - يعني ابن إسماعيل - حدثنا حماد، عن هشام بن عروة، عن عروة، عن عائشة، رضى الله عنها أن رجلا، قام من الليل فقرأ فرفع صوته بالقرآن فلما أصبح قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " يرحم الله فلانا كائن من آية أذكرنيها الليلة كنت قد أسقطتها " .
Narrated A'ishah: A man got up (for prayer) at night, he read the Qur'an and raised his voice in reading. When the morning came, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: May Allah have mercy on so-and-so! Last night he reminded me a number of verses which I was about to forget.
