Sunan Abi Da'ud · Hadith 4055

حدثنا ابن نفيل، حدثنا زهير، حدثنا خصيف، عن عكرمة، عن ابن عباس، قال إنما نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الثوب المصمت من الحرير فأما العلم من الحرير وسدى الثوب فلا بأس به ‏.‏

Ibn 'Abbas said: It is only a garment wholly made of silk which the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade, but there is no harm in the ornamented border and the wrap.
