Sunan Abi Da'ud · Hadith 409

حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شيبة، حدثنا يحيى بن زكريا بن أبي زائدة، ويزيد بن هارون، عن هشام بن حسان، عن محمد بن سيرين، عن عبيدة، عن علي، - رضى الله عنه - أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال يوم الخندق ‏"‏ حبسونا عن صلاة الوسطى صلاة العصر ملأ الله بيوتهم وقبورهم نارا ‏"‏ ‏.‏

'Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying on the day of Battle of Khandaq (Trench). They (the unbelievers) prevented is from offering the middle prayer i.e. 'Asr prayer. May Allah fill their houses and their graves with Hell-fire.
