Model Behavior of the Prophet (Kitab Al-Sunnah) - كتاب السنة
حدثنا أحمد بن سعيد الهمداني، أخبرنا ابن وهب، قال أخبرني ابن لهيعة، وعمرو بن الحارث، وسعيد بن أبي أيوب، عن عطاء بن دينار، عن حكيم بن شريك الهذلي، عن يحيى بن ميمون، عن ربيعة الجرشي، عن أبي هريرة، عن عمر بن الخطاب، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال " لا تجالسوا أهل القدر ولا تفاتحوهم الحديث " .
‘Umar b. al-Khattab reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying : Do not sit with those who believe in free will and do not address them before they address you.
