Sunan Abi Da'ud · Hadith 522

حدثنا عبد الله بن مسلمة القعنبي، عن مالك، عن ابن شهاب، عن عطاء بن يزيد الليثي، عن أبي سعيد الخدري، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ إذا سمعتم النداء فقولوا مثل ما يقول المؤذن ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported the Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) as saying : When you hear the Adhan, you should repeat the same words as the mu’adhdhin pronounces.
