Sunan Abi Da'ud · Hadith 570

حدثنا ابن المثنى، أن عمرو بن عاصم، حدثهم قال حدثنا همام، عن قتادة، عن مورق، عن أبي الأحوص، عن عبد الله، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ صلاة المرأة في بيتها أفضل من صلاتها في حجرتها وصلاتها في مخدعها أفضل من صلاتها في بيتها ‏"‏ ‏.‏

‘Abd Allah (b. Mas’ud) reported the prophet (ﷺ) as saying; it is more excellent for a woman to pray in her house than in her courtyard, and more excellent for her to pray in her private chamber than in her house.
