Sunan Abi Da'ud · Hadith 626

حدثنا مسدد، حدثنا سفيان، عن أبي الزناد، عن الأعرج، عن أبي هريرة، قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ لا يصل أحدكم في الثوب الواحد ليس على منكبيه منه شىء ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Abu Hurairah reported the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as saying: None of you should pray in a single garment of which no part comes over the shoulders.
