Sunan Abi Da'ud · Hadith 849

حدثنا بشر بن عمار، حدثنا أسباط، عن مطرف، عن عامر، قال لا يقول القوم خلف الإمام سمع الله لمن حمده ولكن يقولون ربنا لك الحمد ‏.‏

‘Amir said: The people behind the imam should not say: “Allah listens to him who praises Him.” But they should say: “ Our Lord, to Thee be the praise.”
