Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 1278

أخبرنا أحمد بن سليمان، قال حدثنا يحيى بن آدم، قال حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن حميد، قال حدثنا أبو الزبير، عن طاوس، عن ابن عباس، قال كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يعلمنا التشهد كما يعلمنا السورة من القرآن ‏.‏

It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to teach us the tashahhud just as he used to teach us a surah from the Quran."
