Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 1848

أخبرنا عبيد الله بن سعيد، قال حدثنا يحيى، عن عبيد الله، عن نافع، عن ابن عمر، عن عمر، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ الميت يعذب ببكاء أهله عليه ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar, from 'Umar, that the Prophet said: "The deceased is punished due to the weeping of his family for him."
