Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 1971

أخبرنا سويد بن نصر، قال أنبأنا عبد الله، عن مالك، عن ابن شهاب، عن سعيد بن المسيب، عن أبي هريرة، أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نعى للناس النجاشي اليوم الذي مات فيه ثم خرج بهم إلى المصلى فصف بهم فصلى عليه وكبر أربع تكبيرات ‏.‏

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah: That the Prophet announced the death of An-Najashi to the people on the day that he died, then he took them out to the prayer place and put them in rows and offered the funeral prayer for him, saying the Takbir four times.
