Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 1973

أخبرنا علي بن حجر، قال أنبأنا إسماعيل، عن أيوب، عن أبي الزبير، عن جابر، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ إن أخاكم قد مات فقوموا فصلوا عليه ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فصففنا عليه صفين ‏.‏

It was narrated from Jabir that: the Messenger of Allah said: "Your brother has died, so get up and offer the funeral prayer for him." So we formed two rows for him."
