Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 2518

أخبرنا عيسى بن حماد، قال أنبأنا الليث، عن يزيد، عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عثمان، أن عياض بن عبد الله بن سعد، حدثه أن أبا سعيد الخدري قال كنا نخرج في عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صاعا من تمر أو صاعا من شعير أو صاعا من أقط لا نخرج غيره ‏.‏

It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri said: "At the time of the Messenger of Allah we used to give a Sa' of dates, or a Sa' of barley, or a Sa' of cottage cheese, and we did not give anything else."
