Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 3737

أخبرنا محمد بن عبد الأعلى، قال حدثنا خالد، عن هشام، عن أبي الزبير، عن جابر، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ امسكوا عليكم أموالكم ولا تعمروها فمن أعمر شيئا حياته فهو له حياته وبعد موته ‏"‏ ‏.‏

Hisham narrated from Abu Az-Zubair, from Jabir, that the Messenger of Allah said: "Hold on to your wealth and do not give it on the basis of 'Umra. For whoever is given something on the basis of 'Umra for the rest of his life, it belongs to him for the rest of his life and after his death."
