Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 3774

أخبرنا أحمد بن سليمان، قال حدثنا يزيد، قال أنبأنا هشام، عن الحسن، عن عبد الرحمن بن سمرة، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال ‏"‏ لا تحلفوا بآبائكم ولا بالطواغيت ‏"‏ ‏.‏

It was narrated from 'Abdur-Rahman bin Samurah that the Prophet said: "Do not swear by your forefathers or by false gods (At-Tawaghit)."
