Sunan an-Nasa'i · Hadith 4126

أخبرنا محمد بن رافع، قال حدثنا أبو أحمد الزبيري، قال حدثنا شريك، عن الأعمش، عن أبي الضحى، عن مسروق، عن ابن عمر، قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ لا ترجعوا بعدي كفارا يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض لا يؤخذ الرجل بجناية أبيه ولا جناية أخيه ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قال أبو عبد الرحمن هذا خطأ والصواب مرسل ‏.‏

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar said: "The Messenger of Allah [SAW] said: 'Do not revert to disbelievers after I am gone, striking the necks of one another (killing one another). No man is to be punished for the sins of his father, or for the sins of his brother.'"
